Magic Door Education is run by Emma Taylor. She is an experienced primary school teacher, both in mainstream and special education, and is passionate about firing imaginations and getting children excited about the past.

She runs educational, hands on workshops in schools and educational settings to give children a real sense of history and how this world developed to what it is today.

As a new set up she required branding that would reflect her enthusiasm for taking children back in time to discover how exciting the past can be.

During design development she liked the idea of a child walking back in time through a door, so I created a feel of a door that was a little less ordinary, that would spark imagination if you dared to step through. A muted colour palette is sympathetic to colours typically achieved with dye throughout history.
