Acceptance of terms

These provisions set out the terms and conditions on which you may make use of the www.stoneyrosestudio.uk website whether as a guest or registered user. By using www.stoneyrosestudio.uk you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions then please do not use the Services or any part of them.

 

About us

Stoney Rose Studio is an art, illustration and graphic design service, operated by sole trader Sarah Major from home office LE9 4TD.

 

Stoney Rose Studio products and services

All painting, design, content & copyright is the intellectual property of Stoney Rose Studio (www.stoneyrosestudio.uk and may not be redistributed or resold by any third parties, visitors to www.stoneyrosestudio.uk or clients of Stoney Rose Studio.

When using our products or services, you may not:

  • Upload any user submission that is libelous or defamatory, pornographic, sexually explicit, unlawful or plagiarized;

  • Infringe or violate any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or other property right;

  • Resell or redistribute any design or product offered by, downloaded or purchased from Stoney Rose Studio (www.stoneyrosestudio.uk)

 

Bespoke watercolour paintings and illustrations

Stoney Rose Studio offers bespoke watercolour paintings and illustrations to order. Portraits are painted or drawn by Sarah Major, a professional artist, based on the submitted client reference photos. Watercolour portraits are hand painted works of art and the original painting is supplied to the customer. Sarah Major retains all rights to all original artwork sold and commissioned. Sarah Major retains the right to make reproductions of any artwork created unless the customer has exclusively purchased the full rights to the artwork commissioned. The buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without permission from Sarah Major. If copies of paintings are required, please contact Sarah Major at Stoney Rose Studio who can arrange for payable reproduction prints of paintings. Graphic design service

Stoney Rose Studio offers a graphic design service for corporate and private clients. Contact: stoneyrosestudio@outlook.com for enquiries and more information. It is the clients responsibility to check that all the information entered is correct, including swatch choices, format choices, spelling, grammar and layout. Graphic design projects are produced digitally.  Sarah Major uses a PDF proofing system for clients to check and approve projects, until approved for completion by the client. Upon completion and once payment is made final files are supplied to the client.

The design and personalisation of our wedding products

Stoney Rose Studio wedding products are bespoke and made to the customer’s specification. When placing an order with Stoney Rose Studio, it is the customer’s responsibility to check that all the information entered is correct, including swatch choices, format choices, spelling, grammar and layout. Printed wedding stationery is delivered to one address. As with all print processes, exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed and colours display differently depending on which device or monitor the product is being viewed. Finished printed sizes are given in millimetres within product descriptions. Stoney Rose Studio has carefully chosen a selection of high quality card & paper stocks to complement all the designs across product ranges. Details are given in product descriptions, alternative paper or card stocks are not available unless a bespoke item is ordered. Stoney Rose Studio use a digital offset print processes to produce all products. Other specialist or more traditional print methods, such as letterpress, lithographic printing and more are not available for personalised designs but can be quoted for bespoke designs. Stoney Rose Studio offers delivery via tracked courier at chargeable rates varying on product type, with the estimated delivery time of 5 working days. Returns and refunds

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, Stoney Rose Studio goods are personalised, bespoke or made to the customer’s specification and therefore unfortunately cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded once ordered unless they are damaged in transit.

 

What if my order is damaged in transit?

We take great care to package orders carefully, but in the unlikely event of a damaged parcel please contact Stoney Rose Studio within 2 working days.

 

Customer communications

If you make an enquiry relating to an existing order, via our website or stoneyrosestudio@outlook.com email address, Stoney Rose Studio commits to providing a written response within 4 working days.

Stoney Rose Studio will endeavour to respond to all genuine enquiries but unfortunately this may not always be possible for communications received via social media platforms.

 

If you sign up to our email marketing list you will receive occasional emails to share special offers, new ranges and competitions. Any emails sent will include an ‘opt out’ instruction and personal details will not be shared with any third party.

 

Mistakes in bills, receipts or payments

An e-mail notification breaking down the cost of your order will be sent when you make payment. If you believe there to be any mistakes please notify us immediately and we will correct this.

 

Making a complaint

We welcome any form of feedback to help us to improve the service we offer. We aim to offer clients the best possible customer service available. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us in writing by email to stoneyrosestudio@outlook.com within 28 days of placing your order and we will respond in writing within 5 working days.

This website may contain links to other websites which are not under the control of, nor maintained by Stoney Rose Studio. These links are provided for your convenience only and we cannot be held responsible for the content of those sites.

Force Majeure

Stoney Rose Studio shall have no liability for any failure to deliver goods, any delay in delivery or for any damage or defect to goods caused by any of the following events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control: Acts of God, flood, riots, fire, drought, war or legislation and failure by third parties to deliver goods.

 

Accuracy of Information

This website may include unintentional inaccuracies or typographical errors, for which we apologise. Stoney Rose Studio reserve the right to make changes in the products, prices and content described in this website at any time and without notice.

 

Limitation of Liability

Stoney Rose Studio shall not be responsible for any detrimental reliance you place on this website or its contents. We endeavour to make our website uninterrupted and error free, but are reliant on our web server. Therefore, the online shopping service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

 

Manufacturers or other manuals provided with our products should be read and followed carefully at all times. Any other information or advice given on this site is meant for guidance purposes only and purchasers must be responsible for determining whether such information or advice applies to their particular circumstances. The information and advice contained in this website should not be relied upon as statements or representations of facts. No warranty is given as to the accuracy of any information given.

 

Stoney Rose Studio shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever incurred. Stoney Rose Studios liability in respect of breach or non performance of any order shall be limited to the invoiced value to which the claim relates.

 

Goods are not tested or sold as fit for any particular purpose or for any use under any specific conditions.

 

Governing Law

This agreement between Stoney Rose Studio and you shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with UK law and UK courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.
